NVIDIA Launches Gaming Tablet


NVIDIA has launched a gaming tablet dubbed the "NVIDIA Shield." This is an 8-inch (1920 x 1200 IPS) display tablet running Android KitKat, powered by Tegra K1 processor. The Tegra K1 system-on-chip (SoC) has a powerful 192-core Kepler-based CUDA GPU on four ARM Cortex-A15 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz frequency.

The NVIDIA Shield Tablet will be sold with 16 GB of internal storage for $300, and the LTE 4G broadband, 32 GB storage version for $400. Both versions will include Wi-Fi.
