Upcoming 12-Inch MacBook Air

It looks like the new 12-Inch MacBook Air will most likely be released on September. A report from Digitimes states that the new 12-Inch laptop will enter mass production in the third quarter of this year. And the reason for it:

"The sources pointed out that Apple is releasing a 12-inch MacBook Air because its 11-inch model has a screen size similar to its iPad series products and iPad's increasing sales are impacting MacBook demand and therefore the company is looking to establish a clear boundary between the two product lines."

And the rumor is the new MacBook Air will incorporate a new touch pad without buttons and is built without a fan. It should also feature a higher-resolution display:

"The 12-inch MacBook Air features some design changes such as the battery and the internal layout, while its industrial design will be similar to its existing counterparts using an unibody aluminum chassis, the sources detailed. Some market watchers expect the machine to feature a Retina display."
Apple's planned product roadmap:

And here is a leaked image by apple.club.tw featuring the next gen iPhone 6, iPad 6 (iPad Air 2), and iPad Mini 3:

On these devices, Apple will include a new fingerprint touch ID, and will bring in some design changes made to speaker grille, and volume buttons.
